The Bibbulmun Track is one of the world's great long distance walking trails, stretching nearly 1000kms from Kalamunda (Perth Hills) to Albany (South Coast) through the heart of the scenic South West of Western Australian.
The Bibbulmun Track runs through the heart of Denmark and crosses all of the popular spots along the coast of Denmark. Hikers can see areas no others will ever see. Find out everything you need to know about the 85km Denmark to Albany Section of the Bibbulmun Track. Denmark to Albany is considered an easier coastal section to walk than Peaceful Bay to Denmark.
Although the trail is open year round, the best times to walk it are in Spring for the wildflowers or Autumn and Winter for cool days to ride. Sometimes it is very hot to walk the trail in summer.
The Bibbulmun Track stretches from Kalamunda in the Perth hills to Albany, in the heart of the Rainbow Coast.
The track was officially opened during Western Australia's 150th year celebrations, included involved over 1000 walkers on different stages. There are almost fifty campsites along the Track which are spaced one day's walk apart.
The track passes through most of the beautiful places along the Denmark region of the South Coast, the Rainbow Coast.

The Bibbulmun Track crosses the entire William Bay National Park
Sometimes, the Wison Inlet is open to the sea in a deep wide channel. That means you can't walk from the Nullaki Peninsula across onto Ocean Beach, or vice versa. Although there is an alternate walking route, we highly recommend the traditional approach of crossing by boat!
